We were on a short break to Northern NSW. It was very nice and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Besides the beach we visited amongst other things the DACOU gallery in Alstonville. If you are ever up there it is worth a visit. I thought Ellen would like to stay outside with her father and her sister, but no she wanted to come in and asked all kinds of “what is that?” questions. The lady in the gallery asked the question back and Ellen said “finger painting”. I must admit I thought she was wrong, but the lady of the gallery told her she was right. It was a finger painted landscape. Back at the cabin I let Ellen make her own finger painted landscapes of the places she visited.
