Sketchbooking: Watercolours and Straws

One of the blogs I follow is Sweet Afternoons, a blog where Alisa takes us on her adventures of watercolour. On July 10th she wrote a blog of which the pictures inspired us to use watercolour inks and straws. We also attempted to “paint” with grasses and print some leaves. Not nearly as effective as Alisa but here are the results.

  1. This is really fun to see how the length of your paint streams increases from the youngest painting , to middle, to Mom! I hope you girls had fun making this one. I really like to get thick paper so I can use more water and make a bigger mess, however when I do this with my 3 year old… We have a huge mess to clean up too haha. Thanks so much for the shout out and link back to my blog. It was a fun surprise to wake up to today! I love to inspire others to play with art.
