Over the weekend it was dad was the main caregiver and I can almost hear him ask; ” what do you want to do now?” and Ellen answer “I want to make.” My husband is not really into crafts…, but luckily one of the girls mentioned painting and that he can accommodate. To offer them something different from mummy he found them both a piece of Masonite to paint on with poster paints. Safely outside, long live the sunshine of Brisbane and well wrapped up in art smocks.
The girls had a great time by the looks of it and created two master pieces named “rainbow wood” and “helicopter”. I think I will have to varnish them and use them as play dough boards or place mats. Any other suggestions?
