First of all my apologies for not posting on day 12 and 13. Tiredness and flu made us less creative then we would have liked to be. I could have opted for some older posts where we made Christmas ornaments, but I thought a small break would do us all good.
And I was right. This morning all by her self Ellen decided to make a delicate paper garland from a piece of golden wrapping paper that was lying around and loved it. Her younger sister wanted to join in the fun, so I cut up some strips of yellow and green paper and helped her with the sticky tape.
- sticky tape
Cut strips of equal width of the paper. Take one strip and make a circle. Secure with a piece of cello tape. take the next strip. Stick it through the first circle and make a circle with it and secure. Repeat this until you have used all your strips or until you think your garland is long enough. Ellen and her sister were in competition about the length and enjoyed hanging the result in our crafted Christmas tree.
P.S. The winners of the baubles have been drawn;
