Tomorrow is Christmas Eve. The girls are very excited. But before it is Christmas we must finish the advent calendar making of Christmas decorations. Tomorrow the top of the tree, today another love heart bauble. It is after all Ellen’s favourite shape.
- Hole punch
I used 3 different colours where Ellen used 4, other then that we did the same thing. We took a piece of A6 paper (approx. size of a photograph) and folded it in half. Then I drew a half a love heart on there on the fold and cut it out. When you fold it open it is a symmetric love heart. I took 6 A6 pieces of paper, 2 of each colour, Ellen took 8 and folded them all. Using the cut out love heart as a template, we drew half love hearts on all the folded paper. This to make sure all love hearts are the same shape and size. After that we cut them out.
The cut out hearts get glued together folded one on top of the other accept the last one. Divide the glued hearts open so that half are on one hand and half on the other and glue the last one over the two halves. I hope this is clear, because I find it hard to explain when it is so easy to do. More over this is all that you need to do. If you want to use it as a bauble you make a hole with a hole punch and attach a piece of thread. When you as Ellen did decide this is a love heart book you don’t have to do the last step.
